Lasso La Lune FLF (Lasso the Moon) This handsome colt was born 08/21/214. Lasso is grey with a large star. Lasso currently stands 15.3 hands and may still grow a bit more. He is out of 6 x premium producing Trakehner mare, Zejaluna , by Palmenhain. He is sired by the Weser Ems Stallion, Le Andros (Le Santo) This is a Special young man with a lot of Potential. Lasso La Lune was named a 1st Premium Premier foal at inspection on Nov. 29th scoring a 8.3!! We couldn't have been more proud! This is the highest scoring foal by Le Andros to date! Lasso is Registered with The American Warmblood Registry and Lifetime Registered with USEF. Lasso has been started under saddle, never offering a bit of resistance. He is currently in training with Phoebe DeVoe and Claudia Kleinsmith of Thornridge Manor in Glen Arm, Maryland.
APRIL 2018: Phoebe came to Florida and rode several FLF youngsters she hand picked LASSO to bring back to Thornridge Manor in Maryland. There was only space for one horse on this trip and Lasso was THE CHOSEN ONE!!! He had been lightly under saddle since Jan 2018 and was easy W/T/C in an open hay field. Lasso answered all of Phoebe's advanced questions, with ease, and transported back to MD, with ease. Upon arrival to MD, he never put a foot out of place; it was as if he had lived there forever (well, he was actually here while inutero!). His barn manners were perfect -- his ground manners perfect -- his field manners perfect -- his riding easy & ready to blossom!!!
NOVEMBER 2018: Phoebe and Claudia spend a lot of time making sure that our sale horses are ready to move onto their new home -- LASSO HAS MADE THEIR JOB EASY!!!! He is not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside. He is a very gentle, kind & loving, old-soul. He is extremely mature and honest to ride and handle. Lasso has 3 quality gaits -- with his canter taking center stage as it is naturally uphill, ground-covering and balanced -- this is the "stamp" of LeAndros/LeSanto. They have given lessons on him, even to very beginner and/or fearful riders, and Lasso takes care of everyone. He adjusts well to all types of riders as he is so honest & safe & loves to please. What a brain! We ride him 4 times weekly: in outdoor arena, in indoor arena, in open grass meadow, on trial walks, over ground poles. He has been recently introduced to stadium jumps and has complete willingness. Lasso is currently competition ready Tr Lvl, schooling elements of 1st & 2nd lvl. To date, all of the LeAndros offspring AND/OR Zejaluna offspring that Thornridge has represented has had smooth sailing in a PPE. We expect the same great outcome for Lasso in a vetting -- he has a history of soundness and health since birth. We would like to place Lasso in a fabulous AA or JR/YR home........he is looking for his lifelong best friend..............
