Indy's Gold Mine is an absolutely gorgeous Mare out of Gold Button by broodmare sire CRAFTY PROSPECTOR. Gold Mine was sired by Indy King by A.P. INDY. This filly is very correct and big boned like her mother with the sweetest temperament ever. The Vet's first comment during foal check was "now that's a Belmont Winner"! Gold Mine is a Registered Florida Bred and Nominated to the Breeder's Cup. Gold Mine was unfortunately injured during race training and has come home to be a Mom. Gold Mine’s first foal is a 2017 gelding by Capo Bastone - he is a super nice boy. She has foaled Gary’s prize foal in 2018. A colt by Gary’s stallion, Steppin Honor . This pairing was planned since Steppin and Goldmine were foaled in 2007. After tragically losing Steppin in December 2017 this colt is extra special to Gary and he is a beauty!!!
Gary has decided to learn to ride and he has chosen Dressage as his discipline and Goldmine as his mount. Gary and Goldmine will surely be fabulous.
